- Target material is delivered via plastic delivery lines, usually buried under concrete and shielded with lead to reduce exposure.
- Prior to delivering the radioactivity, the chemistry synthesis box is prepared, chemicals loaded, and final product vial put in location for easy removal.
- After synthesis, product is transferred to a dispensing hot cell for preparation in syringes and vials
- Air-quality and materials handling and standard operating procedures are foundations for GMP. (by regulation of each countries )
